There will be four cuts on the columns, which are fifty-six square feet each that have fifty-four #18 bars each. The remaining straddle bent requires two vertical cuts sixty square feet each and consists of forty-four #14 bars each and twelve #11 bars. The two seven feet diameter columns (34.5 sq/ft) will be cut once under cap. Total cutting is estimated at six hundred seventy-seven square feet.

Taking less than a week, two Bluegrass technicians diamond wire sawed multiple, four feet by eighteen feet bridge piers for removal after the new railroad bridge was built.
BRIDGE OF LIONS
Provided personnel and equipment to diamond wire saw fourteen piers and two bascules.
BRILLIANT DAM
Bluegrass technicians wire sawed a notch from nine piers which required eight feet deep wire access holes. The removed blocks were thirteen tons each and required one vertical and one horizontal cut per pier.
"Bluegrass' expertise in diamond wire sawing services was a great benefit to Dix Corporation while preparing for the installation of a spillway isolation gate at Brilliant Dam."

CLINTON MEMORIAL BRIDGE
Wiresawed 14 piers and drilled nearly 300 core holes for anchor bolts, removing 121 cubic yards of concrete.
CY TEST CUTTING
Bluegrass diamond wire cut the carbon steel reactor nozzle mock-up. The nozzle was 55” in diameter with a 28” annulus.
DC COOK NUCLEAR
Bluegrass provided around-the-clock diamond wire cutting in support of SGRP. The entire 3’ thick roof sections, over four steam generators and enclosure walls, were diamond wire cut into 18, 15-ton sections and removed.
DH BLATTNER
Performed diamond wire sawing to segment (2) 6' diameter piers in less than an hour on a railroad bridge.

Diamond wire sawed track beams including sole plates during plant shut down.
FIU
Bluegrass performed a technology demonstration of the Marcrist MSW300 Wall Concrete Shaver, mounted to a remotely operated Brokk 250, as part of the FIU-HCET technology assessment program. Six hundred feet of uncoated concrete walls, coated concrete ceilings and coated brick walls were removed at 1/4" depths.
GINNA
The steam generators were to be removed and replaced through the containment dome. Bluegrass, using four robotic hammers around-the-clock, broke two large openings through the 3’ thick concrete with 3 layers of #18 rebar on 12” centers, while maintaining the integrity of the containment liner plate.
