In 2006, Bluegrass completed an industrial metal cutting project for Connecticut based Ansonia Copper and Brass that demonstrated our in-house research and development abilities. Bluegrass tested multiple diamond wire sawing approaches on copper furnace flameouts in-house to determine the best cutting technique. Bluegrass technicians were able to take what they learned during from the research and development phase and arrive on the Ansonia work site with a precise cutting strategy. Because of Bluegrass' research and development capabilities, Bluegrass was able to efficiently deliver a cutting solution that met the exact specifics of the application.
