Technical Demolition Services
Bluegrass was recently contracted to complete the demolition of a power plant foundation for the Lower Colorado River Authority in La Grange, Texas. The project is representative of the range of services we offer as an industrial demolitions company. Surgical demolition techniques are required and Bluegrass will be bringing a host of implements to the operating table.
- The project entails concrete core drilling over three hundred twenty inch diameter holes in the foundation for application of Bluegrass' Bustar expansive grout.
- Sections of the foundation to be saved will be segmented with our diamond wire sawing equipment and craned out.
- Additional portions of the foundation will be demolished using Bluegrass supplied and operated robotic hammering units. The project is calling for the removal of twenty-five hundred cubic yards of concrete.
